Obituary - Old Picture or New

We have had this discussion in our newsroom before. Would you rather have your obituary picture from when you were young and in your prime, or when you are much closer to your date in the paper? Me, personally, I'm a young and prime type of guy. But I think I am in the minority. What do you think?

I'm with you. Remember me when I was younger and had my health. Thanks for asking.

Young vs. old. Prime vs. over-the-hill. How about hair vs. no hair?

Not sure that young, cat eye glasses, braces is prime photo. I'll just use a photo that was when I look my best/healthiest.

use the picture that depicts how you want to be remembered and not worry about what's proper or traditional. It's your obituary!
